The five trains will travel the following routes: Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, Mumbai-Goa, and Bangalore-Hubli.

Digital Desk: Following the three-train tragedy in Odisha on June 2 that resulted in 288 fatalities, railways will begin operating Vande Bharat trains on five additional routes on June 26. The semi-high-speed trains will reportedly be introduced by the prime minister via video conference.

The five trains will travel the following routes: Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, Mumbai-Goa, and Bangalore-Hubli. Following the Odisha tragedy, the railway government postponed the debut of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train.

Five Vande Bharat trains will be operating on the same day for the first time. A lot of pomp has accompanied similar launches in the past, but this time around, in light of the Odisha catastrophe, it will be a relatively sombre occasion.
