The cars transporting the rescued reptiles, according to sources, were travelling from Imphal to Gujarat. 

Digital Desk: As many as 84 reptiles of three different species were rescued in Assam's Jorabat on Tuesday. They were saved by vehicles belonging to the forest department.

Notably, they obtained approval from Imphal's Border Customs Department and Manipur's Chief Forest Conservator. 

The ability to transport the reptiles to Gujarat was granted to them. 
Before releasing the animals, the forest department is carefully inspecting the paperwork.
 
The reptiles were taken by the forest department to the Assam State Zoo in Guwahati while the investigation was still ongoing.
13 exotic animals were saved in the Cachar district during the month of October.
 
According to a member of the Cachar district's forest department, when people called to report that some monkeys had been discovered in the tea garden, the department hurried to the location.
