When Dubey heard this, he allegedly attacked the girl in her class, called her names from the caste system, and expelled her from school.

Digital Desk: In UP's Bhadodi district, a Dalit girl allegedly encountered casteist taunts, was assaulted, and expelled from school by a former village chief for failing to wear a uniform, according to police.

According to them, Manoj Kumar Dubey was named as the alleged ex-pradhan.

The police claimed that although the accused is not an officer nor a teacher, he regularly misbehaves with both teachers and students while at school. According to Girija Shankar Yadav, the Chauri police station's in-charge, Dubey questioned the girl, a Class 8 student at a government school, on Monday about why she wasn't wearing the uniform.

The youngster responded that when her father buys it for her, she will wear it, Yadav added.

When Dubey heard this, he allegedly attacked the girl in her class, called her names from the caste system, and expelled her from school.

According to Yadav, a case was filed against the accused for assault, intimidation, and violation of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act based on the girl's mother's complaint.
