For an 18-year-old kid to witness his professor wearing skimpy clothing and flaunting her body on a public platform is obscene, vulgar, and indecent."

Digital Desk: In a startling incident, a lecturer at St. Xavier University in Kolkata was forced to resign from her position after a student's father complained to the school about her Instagram bikini photos. According to accounts, the student's father said that he discovered his kid looking at the picture and immediately informed the school. The university responded by suing the professor for Rs 99 crore for harming the school's reputation.

According to a media outlet, the father had complained to the institution in writing about the professor's Instagram posts-old. "Recently, I was appalled to see my son looking at some images of professor...where she has posed in a sexually explicit way, causing purposeful public exposure," the man said in his statement to the institution.

He also added, "I have attempted to protect my son from this kind of egregious obscenity and exploitation of the female body, so to see a teacher posting images of herself on social media while wearing only her underwear is totally embarrassing for me as a parent. For an 18-year-old kid to witness his professor wearing skimpy clothing and flaunting her body on a public platform is obscene, vulgar, and indecent."

In an interview with Indian Express, the professor said that the university "intimidated, humiliated and insulted her with sexually tinged remarks" and that she has petitioned the Calcutta High Court to challenge her forced resignation.
