After a day-long series raids at his home and the locations of his aides, he was taken into custody on Friday by the Delhi Anti Corruption Bureau.

Digital Desk: AAP leader, Amanatullah Khan was placed in four-day police custody on Saturday due to anomalies in the hiring process for the Delhi Waqf Board.

In response to the arrest of party MLA Amanatullah Khan earlier in the day, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal said, "It appears like they are suffering a lot in Gujarat."'

After a day-long series raids at his home and the locations of his aides, he was taken into custody on Friday by the Delhi Anti Corruption Bureau.

On Friday, Khan and his business partner Hamid Ali Khan Masood Usman's locations were searched by the Delhi Police's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB). During the operation, the authorities found one Beretta gun, a few bullets, and Rs 12 lakh in cash.

It is to be noted that Kausar Imam Siddiqui, an AAP member and close ally of Amanatullah Khan, was also found to have Rs 12 lakh in cash, a weapon, and live ammunition.
