Ottawa: Pregnancy is one of the toughest phases for women folk who pass through that stage. Carrying a baby for nine months in her womb is no joke not forgetting the tones of physical changes to complications one endures during that period. Whatsoever, a woman from Canada was shocked after finding she was pregnant with her foetus growing inside the ‘Liver’.
As shocking and bizarre it might sound for all, the woman was diagnosed with a rare type of pregnancy inside her liver when she simply went to her doctor to get herself checked for excessive menstrual bleeding.

This rare phenomena is called an ectopic pregnancy where the foetus develops inside the liver of the mother after a fertilized egg becomes implanted somewhere other than inside the uterus. But generally, those other areas are restricted to fallopian tubes and this strange case of a liver pregnancy was a total shocker to the doctors.
According to a report by DailyMail, paediatrician Dr Michael Narvey, who diagnosed the woman, shared the news on TikTok, which went viral shortly after. He also described that such a case was a first time for him.
Netizens were shocked on reading the news. As per a detailed report by the National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), the woman came with a 14-day history of menstrual bleeding and 49 days since her last menstrual period. Shortly after some intensive tests, it was found that she had one of the rarest pregnancies in the world.
