Digital Desk: Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, reportedly
locked a California office and showed departure doors to about 200 members of
the Autopilot team.
According to Bloomberg, the bulk of individuals fired
were hourly employees, according to the persons who sought to remain anonymous
because they were disclosing private information.
According to the story, Musk had just last week announced
plans to increase the number of hourly positions while reducing the number of
paid positions by 10%.
