Bhatinda: Actor Sonu Sood met Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday. The actor previously met Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal as well.
As per sources, Sonu Sood and Sukhbir Singh met to discuss some philanthropic agendas. Apart from philanthropic talks, they both also had some conversations about politics.
Badal shared this information by tweeting. He wrote, "Had a conversation with Sonu Sood about his initiatives. I appreciate his generous spirit, and he has helped thousands of needy people."

Sonu Sood earlier this month had announced that sister Malvika would join politics. But then he said that at present, she has not taken any decision regarding the party selection.
Later, the actor's sister Malvika stated that she would try her luck from Moga in the assembly elections in Punjab next year.
Last year, the actor made headlines by helping migrants reach their home states. This initiative was exercised throughout the nationwide lockdown in the wake of the pandemic.
