Digital Desk: Billionaire Gautam Adani offered free schooling to children whose parents died in the country's bloodiest railway tragedy in decades on Sunday, saying the train accident in Odisha was very upsetting.

Mr Adani, who controls a conglomerate that includes ports, oil, commodities, airports, and data centres, said in a tweet that it is everyone's responsibility to support the victims and their families and provide them a brighter tomorrow.

"The train accident in Odisha has deeply disturbed us all." We have decided that the Adani Group will fund the education of the children who lost their parents in this catastrophe. It is all of our responsibility to help the victims and their families, and to provide the children a better tomorrow," he stated in a Hindi tweet.

The deadliest train accicdent in nearly three decades killed about 300 people and injured hundreds more.
