Vaishnaw remarked, "India would take a lead in 6G as PM Modi aims to take a global lead in 6G."

Digital Desk: The day after PM Modi introduced 5G services, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw declared on Sunday that the nation would follow his goal to take the "global lead in 6G."

Vaishnaw remarked, "India would take a lead in 6G as PM Modi aims to take a global lead in 6G."

By the end of the decade, Modi's government intends to introduce 6G services, he said in August of this year. He emphasized how the government is supporting and funding Indian technological solutions.

The launch of 5G high-speed services will bring "major changes across various sectors, including education, health, agriculture, and finance," according to earlier statements made by Vaishnaw.

"The gateway to Digital India is telecom. All digital services that we use in modern life have their origins in the telecom industry. Education, health, agriculture, logistics, and banking are just a few of the industries that 5G services will completely transform. It will open up new possibilities," he continued.

On Saturday, the 5G network equipment was officially launched by the prime minister in Delhi's Pragati Maidan. At the IMC 2022 conference, the service was introduced in a few select cities. Over the following few years, the network will gradually encircle the entire nation.

The fifth generation, or 5G, service, which can support ultra-high-speed internet, is anticipated to unleash new economic prospects and societal advantages, acting as a transformative force for Indian society.
