Digital Desk: Badruddin Ajmal, the chief of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), has been banned from entering seven districts of Assam following his act of alleged disrespect to the ‘Seleng Sador’, reports emerged on Sunday.

Notably, on November 14, Ajmal was involved in a major issue following reports that he had shown disrespect toward the respected "Seleng Sador" at a party event held at Laharighat Block Playground in the Nagaon district. This move sparked heated discussions about cultural sensitivity and broad condemnation.

According to reports, Ajmal received a severe warning from the Upper Assam Muslim Kalyan Parishad, a social organization, and his entry into seven districts was prohibited until he apologized for his acts. According to sources, Ajmal is not allowed to enter the districts of Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Golaghat, and Shivsagar.

The group claims that Ajmal's actions have disrespected the whole Assamese community.
