Digital Desk: Sibsagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has been admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after his health deteriorated. He was tested positive for Covid-19 on 15th January along with his wife and son.
His oxygen saturation levels dropped below the normal range because of which he is being provided with oxygen.

Akhil Gogoi, his wife and son, tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday last week. Gogoi also stated that the leader did not leave his house throughout the Bihu celebrations and did not participate in any bihu programme or other party-related activities.
The MLA was in home quarantine for the past few days. According to doctors, he would be released by today evening following an improvement in his oxygen levels.
