Digital Desk: The highest taxpayer in the entertainment sector is once again Akshay Kumar. The actor has also received a Samman Patra, or honour certificate, from the Income Tax department. According to reports, Akshay Kumar has continued to pay the most taxes over the last five years.

 

Akshay Kumar Becomes Top Taxpayer

Akshay Kumar's crew accepted the honour award from the Income Tax Department on his behalf because he is currently filming in the UK. It is hardly shocking because, over the preceding five years, the actor routinely ranked among India's top taxpayers. On The Work Front

Together with Tinu Desai, Akshay Kumar is now filming in the UK. In Samrat Prithviraj, in which Manushi Chhillar also starred, he was last spotted. The movie, however, garnered conflicting reviews and failed to draw audiences to the theatres. In the upcoming months, the actor has several films coming out, starting with Raksha Bandhan and continuing with Ram Setu and Selfie. Additionally, he has Oh My God 2 in the works. Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay were guests on season seven of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan.
