On July 28 of this year, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani—which also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi—will be released in theatres.
Digital Desk: On May 25, social media users released posters from Karan Johar's comeback film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. Fans praised the chemistry between the movie's two leads, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt after the director and the production team revealed several posters of the movie. The two actors are starring together in the movie for the first time.
Ranveer as Rocky and Alia as Rani is shown on separate posters by Karan Johar. Rocky is an outstanding "heartthrob," who wears his heart on his sleeve, Ranveer said in his introduction. Then, two posters of Alia as Rani with the slogan, “Ladies & gentlemen, the queen is here to steal your hearts - meet Rani!”
The two leads were then shown on four different posters by the director, each featuring them in a different colour and outfit. “It's Rocky & Rani's world & you're about to live in it,” the director wrote. The images feature Ranveer and Alia's characters in loving poses while dressed in pink, blue, gold, and red attire. When asked about the posters, one fan responded, "They are fire." Others agreed and said, "This is the new hit pair of Bollywood." They also praised the chemistry.
On July 28 of this year, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani—which also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi—will be released in theatres. The team will soon release the first look poster for the supporting cast, Karan Johar has hinted. Since Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016, Karan Johar has not directed a full-length feature film until this one. In the meantime, the director worked on portions of the Netflix-streaming anthology films Lust Stories and Ghost Stories.
