Digital Desk: Popular Bollywood actor Ashish Vidyarthi married Assam's Rupali Barua in an intimate ceremony on Thursday.

The legendary actor was born in Delhi on June 19, 1962, and is well-known for his work in several film industries. With a career spanning from 1986 to the present, Ashish Vidyarthi has appeared in films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Odia, Marathi, and Bengali.

He has since performed in more than 300 films in 11 different languages. The character of VP Menon was performed by Ashish Vidyarthi in his first film, Sardar, which was based on the biography of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

However, his debut film was Drohkaal, for which he received a National Film Award in 1995 for Best Supporting Actor.

He is renowned for playing Ashutosh in 1942: A Love Story. The Star Screen Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role was given to Ashish Vidyarthi for the 1996 movie Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin.

It is to be noted that the popular actor was earlier married to Rajoshi Vidyarthi, an Indian actor, singer, and theatre artist.
