Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma suggested that his Maharashtra counterpart, Uddhav Thackeray, should also take a vacation in Assam.
Digital Desk: Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, suggested Maharastra's CM Uddhav Thackeray to visit Assam for a holiday; he stated this amid the recent political crisis in Maharashtra.
"I invite all the MLAs of the country to come to Assam," said Assam's Chief Minister.
He additionally remarked, "If the rebel MLAs stay in Assam for more days, then it is a good thing for me. I invite everyone. I also invite CM Uddhav Thackeray to come to Assam for vacation."
While conversing about a violation of the federal structure with the national news agency ANI, Himanta questioned them. "How is this a federal structure, he questioned, "if people come to Assam and I close down all the hotels?"
When the Assam Chief Minister went to the guesthouse where the contrary Shiv Sena was staying on June 22, he entered the ongoing Maharashtra issue. The opposition leaders attacked the chief minister for engaging in politics while the state was experiencing flooding.
Sarma claimed that the state has several fine hotels where anyone is welcome to stay after rebel MLAs set up camp at a hotel in Guwahati.
Shiv Sena rebel MLAs are encamped in Guwahati hotel under Eknath Shinde's leadership. The current MVA administration is in trouble as a result of Move. Only 13–17 MLAs are still in favor of CM Uddhav Thackeray.
