Amitabh Bachchan made his Bollywood debut in 1969 with Saat Hindustani, for which he received a National Award for Best Newcomer. Today marks his 80th Birthday.

Over the course of his more than five decades in the show biz, Bachchan has not only worked in a variety of cinema sectors but has also effectively experimented with almost every medium, including but not limited to television. He has been hailed as an inspiration by numerous celebrities throughout the years, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

Over the years, Big B has consistently been able to reinvent himself and maintain his relevance in a field characterised by perpetual change.

On Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, he will be joined by his wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan for a special episode in honour of his birthday. In addition to discussing one another, Jaya and Abhishek will reveal something about Big B in this episode.


PVR Juhu is showing a couple of Amitabh Bachchan's classic movies in honour of the actor's 80th birthday. Additionally, there is a display of his unique photos, artwork, and souvenirs.

Shweta Bachchan shared a sweet throwback photo with her father, Amitabh Bachchan, ahead of his 80th birthday. In the photo, the Bollywood legend is lovingly holding her in his arm. She wrote in the caption, "As the song goes … "but you love me daddy" & I you ♾????."

Amitabh Bachchan has appeared in four films this year, including Nagraj Manjule's Jhund, Vikas Bahl's Goodbye, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, and Ajay Devgn's Runway 34.

Amitabh, who is currently hosting Sony TV's popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, is excited about the release of his new movie Uunchai. He is also working on the Hindi remakes of Project K and The Intern.
