Digital Desk: Rishi Sunak took over as Britain's new Prime Minister on Tuesday. Sunak undoubtedly made history, and his appointment is linked to numerous firsts in the United Kingdom. The 42-year-old Prime Minister is the youngest to lead Britain. Moreover, Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murthy, are also wealthier than King Charles III and the Queen Consort, Camilla.

Many people around the world congratulated Sunak on his new role, including world leaders and diplomats. Sunak was also congratulated by the Indian household brand Amul. As customary, the company celebrated Sunak's recent milestone on social media. To mark the event, the brand created a unique doodle. Sunak was pictured alongside the company's mascot in the doodle. It also has the sentence "Rishi Sunuk," with the word "UK" highlighted in red.  "Prime Makhan" was written below  "P" and "M" highlighted.

The doodle was captioned, "#Amul Topical: Welcoming Britain's first Indian-origin PM!"

The post received a lot of attention online. Needless to say, desi internet users had a lot to say. "There's no one closer to your creativity! Hands down winner!" commented one user.

While some liked the image, others wanted to correct the brand's caption. "Parents born in today modern-day Pakistan!!! So is he Pakistani? Lol," wrote one user. "You guys are celebrating as if he is Indian. He isn't," one netizen wrote.
