Digital Desk: A doctor and his two children were killed after a fire broke out in a hospital in Andhra Pradesh's Renigunta in Tirupati district on Sunday morning. The children, a girl, and a boy, were 9 and 14 years old respectively.

According to reports, the fire started on the first floor of the doctor's home on Sunday morning between 3 to 4 am, according to Arohan Rao, Inspector of Renigunta Police. The incident occurred in the Tirupati district's Renigunta area.

The doctor's family lived on the first and second floors of the building, and the ground floor was used as an outpatient clinic.

Rao said that the doctor's mother and wife were saved during the rescue effort and that the fire department was informed.
The investigation revealed that Dr. Ravi Shanker passed away after suffering burn injuries, and his two children also passed away while receiving medical treatment. 

It is to be noted that a case has been filed into the matter and the bodies have been sent for an autopsy report.
