Another individual accused of having connections to an Al Qaeda network in Bangladesh was captured by Assam Police.

Digital Desk: Assam Police detained a second individual on Wednesday who was allegedly connected to a Bangladeshi Al Qaeda network, as per reports.

Amjad Ajmal Hussain was detained in the Fatasil Ambari neighborhood of Guwahati.

According to the preliminary inquiry, Hussain was reportedly connected to Mohammed Suman, who is thought to be an active member of Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent, according to a senior police officer (AQIS).

According to sources, Assam Police detained a second individual on Wednesday who is thought to have connections to an Al Qaeda network in Bangladesh.

The suspect, named Amjad Ajmal Hussain, was taken into custody in the Fatasil Ambari neighbourhood of Guwahati.

According to a senior police officer's report, Hussain was first suspected of having connections to Mohammed Suman, who is said to be an active member of Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS).
