Desk: A second-year
BTech student at IIT-Madras committed suicide, police informed on Friday. The
body has been taken for a post-mortem examination by police. This is the fourth
suicide attempt in the last three months. Kedar Suresh, 20, of Cauvery Hostel,
has been identified as the dead.
Suresh's friends saw
that his room had been shut for several hours and told the warden, who then
notified the police.

department has opened an investigation.
