Digital Desk: Nanda Babu Singh, the former principal controller of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) examinations has been sent to judicial custody.

Nanda Babu Singh was detained by the police Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the APSC cash-for-jobs fraud.

It is to be noted that Singh was accused of raising the marks of many candidates.

Nanda Babu was in the custody of SIT for three days and today he was presented before the court at the end day of his remand.

It may be mentioned that SIT this time didn't ask for Singh's remand, so the court has sent him to judicial custody.
