Digital Desk: In order to review the answer sheets of the 241 officers whose names have surfaced in the APSC scandal, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has approached the special court.

SIT Deputy Chief Prateek Thube has submitted the plea to the special judge's court for approval.

Additionally, the marks received on the answer sheets of 241 registered officers will be examined.

On October 21, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) 2014's Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) irregularities and malpractices were the subject of a judicial investigation conducted by retired justice Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission. The commission produced a 380-page report that was sent to the Assam government's Home department.

The commission submitted its report on October 13.

The Gauhati High Court granted the Commission an extension of time until October 15, 2023, to deliver its findings to the state administration.
