Sameer Wakhede, formerly in Mumbai as DGARM, was transferred immediately.

Digital Desk After the Narcotics Control Bureau recommended that he be prosecuted for "sleazy investigations" in the Aryan Khan drug on cruise case, the Central Board on Indirect Taxes and Customs - CBIC - Sameer Wankhede was transferred to the Directorate General of Taxpayer Services DGTS.

Wankhede was formerly assigned as DGARM in Mumbai on May 30th and was transferred to the new position immediately. Sources claim that DGTS is a temporary job.

Aryan Khan was not identified by the NCB in its last week narcotics case charge sheet. This was due to a lack solid evidence. Last year, the elder son of Shah Rukh Khan was held in prison for 26 days.

A person who is familiar with the findings of the special NCB team that investigated Khan's arrest claims that Khan was the one being investigated. "

Instructing the Customs and Excise Department, Wankhede was ordered by the union government to take the necessary action against Khan, an Indian Revenue Services official and former Mumbai Zone Director for the NCB. Aryan Khan had been arrested in October after a raid on a ship bound for Goa from Mumbai.

On Friday, the NCB presented its charge sheet to a special Mumbai court. It named 14 of the 20 defendants.

Director-general of NCB SN Pradhan stated that no evidence or physical evidence was found against any five people, including Khan, who was omitted in the charge sheet.Khan told reporters in New Delhi that he wasn't a member any international narcotics group and that there was no conspiracy.
