Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan are expecting the birth of their first child...

Digital Desk: The Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah returned home for personal reasons but will be back for the Asia Cup in a few days, which means Bumrah will miss the match against Nepal on Monday, September 4, but return in time for the Super 4s match.

According to sources, Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan are expecting the birth of their first child.

A crucial member of the Indian cricket team, Bumrah, has returned to the international game after a long hiatus due to a back injury. Given his reputation for performing well under pressure and his distinctive bowling technique, his comeback was widely anticipated. Bumrah's return to the field was marked by rigorous workload control during his recovery with a focus on getting him ready for the World Cup.

Bumrah's fitness was initially tested during a series against Ireland, where he took two wickets in his first over. Bumrah's performance showed hope for his return to white-ball cricket despite the small extension of his run-up and bowling within his limitations.

Four wickets were taken in the two games by the Indian pacer who led the team on the tour of Ireland. This would give him a chance to once again be considered for the Asia Cup team.

Bumrah's performance in the Asia Cup 2023 was significant. He didn't get the opportunity to bowl during the game against Pakistan, but he still made a substantial contribution with his batting, hitting 16 runs in just 14 balls. Since Bumrah is better known for his bowling than his batting, this performance was very impressive. however, he is going to miss India's match against Nepal in the group stage due to personal reasons.
