On Sunday afternoon, the body of missing instructor Tapas Jyoti Medhi was discovered in his car near the Lumding Railway Station.
According to accounts, the police and the deceased's family members raced to the scene.
Medhi had gone missing after leaving his home on Saturday evening, according to a report filed by his wife at the Raha Police Station.
He was driving from his home in Phulguri to Nagaon in his automobile.
The police had also initiated a search operation in order to find Medhi.
