Digital Desk: In Guwahati, the 100th meeting of the Assam Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, starts off.


The meeting is now taking place in the Brahmaputra State Guest House in Guwahati's Kharguli neighbourhood.


According to sources, the state administration made 1,244 decisions in the last 99 cabinet meetings. According to reports, 1,120 of these rulings were carried out.


According to an Assam Government statement, 124 cabinet decisions are still pending implementation. Cabinet decisions are implemented at a rate of 90.03 percent.


CM Himanta Biswa Sarma earlier on his twitter (X) account posted statins, "Tomorrow, our Cabinet will hold its 100th meeting – a momentous occasion in our governance journey."

According to the state government statement, the state government has taken 120 decisions from the Finance Department, 119 decisions from the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, 109 decisions from the Education (School and Higher) Department, and 67 decisions from the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs in the last 99 cabinet meetings.


Under the administration, 12 cabinet sessions were held outside of Guwahati in the last 99 days, including three in Delhi and one each in Dhemaji, Bongaigaon, Haflong, Tezpur, Kokrajhar, Silchar, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, and Udalguri.
