The 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is one of the most ambitious marches organized by Congress in recent years.
Digital Desk: Referring as one of the greatest comedies of the twentieth century, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma commented on the Congress's campaign " Bharat Jodo Yatra" and stated that our country does not require a 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' since we live in a unified India now, and that India was only split once in 1947, when a new country, Pakistan, was formed, and that it was his (Rahul Gandhi's) party, the Congress, that permitted this division to take place.
Himanta also asked Rahul Gandhi to fly to Pakistan and do the yatra there so that we can have an India that was united prior to British rule.
The 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is one of the most ambitious marches organized by Congress in recent years. This yatra will begin in Kanyakumari and conclude in Jammu and Kashmir. The Yatra began today in Kanyakumari and will go across 12 Indian states and two union territories.
According to reports, the entire itinerary of the yatra is 150 days long and will conclude in February of next year.
In this 3750-kilometer-long Walkathon, Rahul Gandhi will be accompanied by more than 100 Congress workers. Notably, APCC President (Assam Unit) Bhupen Borah stated in a recent statement that Assam will fully cooperate in the yatra. Aside from the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' the Congress's Delhi rally, dubbed the "Halla Bol Dilli Chalo" campaign against price increases and other similar issues, has helped the beleaguered Congress get some traction.
