Digital Desk: 47 Vaishnav nephews from Majuli embark on a journey to Guwahati to celebrate CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is lovingly addressed as "Mama" by the people of the state. The chief minister invited the little Vaishnavas from two sattras in Majuli on the occasion of his birthday. Following that invitation, 47 young Vaishnav nephews of the historic Dakshinpat and Auniati Sattar left for Guwahati. In the morning, the nephews left for Guwahati with various gifts to meet the chief minister who has become everyone's maternal uncle, popularly addressed as "Mama", and wish him a happy birthday. BJP MLA Ranjeet Kumar Das also tweeted, " Warm greetings to Hon’ble CM Dr @himantabiswa Dangoria on your birthday. ???? Your visionary thinking & efficient leadership is taking Assam towards the zenith of its glory. May Maa Kamakhya shower her blessings for your good health & a long, prosperous life." According to reports, well-wishers gathered at the residence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati to celebrate his birthday at midnight.
