Digital Desk: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized Assam's remarkable development and industrialization during the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of record Investment of Rs 11,314 crore, which will create over 10,000 jobs in the State.

In a session conducted at Janata Bhawan in Guwahati's Dispur, he emphasized the state's transition into an industrial centre and its ability to attract substantial investments.

Speaking to the media, CM Sarma stated that Assam is moving forward in its development and that it wants to become an industrial powerhouse.

According to the CM, projects worth Rs 3,114 crore have been initiated as a result of the most recent MoU signing. Previously, Assam had MoUs worth Rs 8,000 crore with 8 industries.

These proposals will be carefully examined by the established rules.

The CM added that Assam expects to attract investments of Rs 50,000 crore in the next year.

In his 21 years of ministry, CM Sarma expressed astonishment at the unprecedented industrial interest.

He pointed out that it had only taken a month to accelerate electrical connections and land registration.

The CM stressed the necessity for industries to progress quickly and in an uncomplicated environment.

CM urged for minimal obstacles from the public during the industrial establishment.
