Guwahati: Assam reported 308 fresh covid cases on Wednesday, taking the active caseload to 2,263. The positivity rate now stands at 0.78 percent.
The total number of covid-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours was 39, 654.
Reportedly, one people have succumbed to covid-19 on Wednesday, while 282 were recovered and discharged.

The district with the highest number of covid cases has been reported from Kamrup (Metro)-109, Sonitpur-24, Barpeta – 30 and Lakhimpur-22.
The total number of recoveries of the state has reached 5,97,859 with a recovery rate of 98.42 percent.
Moreover, covid –related fatalities in the state have reached 5,958 with a death rate of 0.98 percent.
