Assam Cricket Association is all set to develop cricket in Dima Hasao. A team of the Assam Cricket Association, led by Secretary Devajit Saikia, visited the Dima Hasao district yesterday. The main aim behind the visit is to develop cricket in the hill district.
The members of the Assam Cricket Association met Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), a few executive members of NCHAC, and office bearers of Dima Hasao Sports Association, Haflong and Garampani Sports Association, Umrangso.
Following up the meeting, Assam Cricket Association announced to develop a new cricket ground surrounding a pavilion and all the modern facilities in Umrangso. Further, it said to upgrade the existing cricket facilities in Haflong.
