GP Singh discussed the meeting and stated that SPs have been told to maintain tight vigilance on security measures throughout the state.

Digital Desk: Director General of Police (DGP) of Assam GP Singh met with the Superintendents of Police (SPs) from Upper Assam districts on Wednesday.

Information indicates that meetings were convened to discuss the law and order situation and insurgent activity in various parts of Upper Assam. Tinsukia hosted the key meeting behind closed doors.

GP Singh discussed the meeting and stated that SPs have been told to maintain tight vigilance on security measures throughout the state.

"The meeting that took place today was attended by all members of unified groups. Participants at the meeting included SPs from every district, from Lakhimpur to Golaghat. Officers from the CRPF, Assam Rifles, and the Army who attended the conference were urged to maintain a rigorous vigil throughout the state after discussions about the state's current condition took place,"," Singh stated.

When Assam celebrates Republic Day or Independence Day, the ULFA-I engages in several undesirable acts. Security forces have been made aware of the situation and instructed to conduct comprehensive operations in numerous locations, according to GP Singh.

GP Singh added that because they are encountering so many challenges in the camps, the youngsters who joined ULFA-I want to rejoin society.
