Digital Desk: The Assam Government has decided to suspend mobile internet services for four hours in the districts where the Assam Direct Recruitment Examinations 2022 for filling up vacancies in Class III and Class IV posts-old will be conducted.

On Wednesday, August 17, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that mobile internet services will be suspended on August 21 and August 28 during the times of the recruitment examinations (10am to 12pm and 2 pm to 4pm).

The Chief Minister added that only mobile internet services will remain suspended during this time. However, the broadband internet services will remain operational during the same period.

It is to be noted that the decision was made to prevent any malpractices. Over 11 lakh candidates will be appearing in the exams.
