Digital Desk: Medical services at Margherita Civil Hospital have been significantly impacted by ongoing power outages in Assam.

Due to the frequent power outages, doctors and patients are experiencing severe inconveniences. Torch lamps are used to treat patients because the power source is typically not accessible at night.

In one such incident, a severely injured accident patient was treated at Margherita Civil Hospital using portable torches because the generator service had been out of operation for a very long period.

The accident that occurred on NH 315 near Margherita St. Mary's School left the patient, Raj Kurmi, with significant injuries, and arrangements have been made to take him to Dibrugarh for further treatment.
