According to accounts, the victim, Tarani Das, was stabbed and killed with a knife by the accused following a quarrel over the distribution of prasad. 

Digital Desk: A startling murder case was reported in the Bongaigaon district during Holi celebrations on Wednesday, in which a youth was killed and two others were injured in an alleged knife attack by a malafide within a mandir premise, sparking a tense scenario.

The incident occurred during Doul Utsav, which was held on the occasion of Holi at the Pallirtal Palpara Mandir in Jogighopa.

According to accounts, the victim, Tarani Das, was stabbed and killed with a knife by the accused following a quarrel over the distribution of prasad. Two others attempted to stop the accused but were also hurt.

Krishna Shill has been recognized as the accused.
It is suspected that two youths were drunk at the time of the event.

The two injured people were identified as Robin Chandra Shill and Shadhon Paul, and both were taken to a neighbouring hospital.

Meanwhile, local cops arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. A case was filed against him under the relevant laws.
