Digital Desk: Assam's rising tennis star, Fagun Jyoti, has clinched the Under-12 girls' singles title at the National Ranking Super Series Tennis Tournament held in Jaipur, Rajasthan.


Competing in the prestigious AITA All India event, the young athlete from Assam delivered a commanding performance to secure the championship.


In the final match at Jaipur Dream House Resort, Fagun defeated Uttar Pradesh's Shubhi Ranjan in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-2.


This victory is a testament to her consistent form and dedication, further elevating Assam's profile in national-level tennis.  


Fagun, a student at Holy Child School and a trainee at the Assam Tennis Association's (ATA) coaching centre in Chachal, Guwahati, is expected to inspire a new generation of players from the region.


The Assam Tennis Association has lauded her achievement and extended its congratulations on her remarkable success.
