Guwahati: The Assam Health Ministry has taken a very important step in the fight against Covid-19. The Assam Health Department has launched a Covid vaccination center at ISBT Betkuchi for uncovered inter-state and inter-district.
The covid-19 vaccines will be sent to 10 different districts in special vehicles with the only objective of sending the vaccines.
The Covid-19 vaccine motors was inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through an inaugurating programme in the presence of Ministers, Keshab Mahanta, and Ashok Singhal.
Along with that 15 mobile vaccine vans have been flagged off by Assam CM for six districts.
Meanwhile, Assam has recorded 471 new cases of Covid-19 as the positivity rate dipped to 0.58%. Nine more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, and the recovery rate stands at 97.95% in the state.
