Digital Desk: The Covid vaccination drive for students and adolescents aged 15-18 will be launched in Assam from January 3.
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma will formally launch the campaign on Monday by attending the schools in Duliajan.
The cabinet members will visit schools in every district and monitor the implementation of the first day's campaign.
Health Minister Keshab Mahanta will visit schools in Guwahati city.
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Minister of Labour & Employment Sanjay Kisan, and Power Minister Bimal Bora.

Here is the list of Cabinet members who will visit various educational institutes across the state:
· Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ranjit Kumar Das will visit Sonitpur.
· Finance Minister Ajanta Neog will be present at Golaghat.
· Forest Minister Parimal Shuklavaidya at Hojai.
· Water Resources Minister Piyush Hazarika will attend Kamrup (M) schools.
· Transport Minister Chandramohan Patwari will attend Kamrup(M) schools.
· Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Nagaon.
· Land protection Minister UG Brahma, Chirang.
· Revenue Minister Yogen Mahan will participate in the vaccination program tomorrow at the educational institutes in Charaideu district.
According to reports, the state currently has about 14 lac doses of covaxin vaccines. Additional 8.16 Lac doses will reach Assam on January 4.
