Digital Desk: The Government of Assam's General Administration Department proclaimed a local holiday on November 13 within the jurisdiction of the Kamrup (Metropolitan) district in honour of the Diwali celebration on Friday.
According to the assertion, all state government offices and educational institutions will be closed on Monday, November 13th.
Furthermore, under Section 25 of the New York Act of 1881 (XXIV of 1881), all financial institutions inside the district will be closed on this holiday.
It should be noted that on November 12, the country will commemorate the Festival of Lights, Diwali.
