Digital Desk: Guwahati police detained one individual and seized 320 kg of cannabis on Thursday from a truck in a large haul.
Thongiya Mog of Tripura has been identified as the person apprehended.
According to reports, on Thursday night, a Special Team of Guwahati City Police led by Joint Commissioner of Police Partha Mahanta busted a consignment of cannabis from a truck in the Khanapara region of Assam's Dispur.
"A large haul of 320 kilograms of cannabis was made from the concealed chambers in the truck," Guwahati Police Joint Commissioner Partha Sarathi Mahanta stated.
