Digital Desk: Due to the visit of G20 delegates, the Kaziranga National Park in Assam will be closed to regular tourists on February 4. 

The Assam Forest Department announced this on Wednesday. 

The jeep safari in the national park's Bagori and Agoratoli ranges would remain closed to general visitors. 

"In light of the visit of G20 delegates to Kaziranga National Park on 4 February, 2023, the Jeep Safari in Bagori, Kaziranga, and Agoratoli Range will stay closed for general tourists," said the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of eastern Assam wildlife division. 

The announcement further stated that elephant safari will continue as usual in both regions.
