Assam's state executive member of the BJP Minority Morcha, Ansarul Hoque Choudhury, has been named as the BJP leader, according to sources.

Digital Desk: In Assam's Hailakandi on Thursday, another Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was detained for allegedly extorting money from several individuals under the pretext of offering them government jobs, one week after Moon Ingtipi was detained.

Assam's state executive member of the BJP Minority Morcha, Ansarul Hoque Choudhury, has been named as the BJP leader, according to sources.

The district of Karbi Anglong detained BJP leader Moon Ingtipi on suspicion of fraud last Wednesday. Karbi Anglong's Ingtipi served as the organization's secretary. 

Additionally, it was found out that Ingtipi had impersonated the chief ministers of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Tuliram Ronghang, to demand money from the victims
