Digital Desk: The dates for the Higher Secondary (HS) examination 2024 have been announced by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Thursday.
The AHSEC states that the high school examinations will begin on February 12 and end on March 13, 2024.
On the other hand, the practical examination is scheduled for January 24, 2024, to February 8, 2024.

The AHSEC decided earlier in November that in December 2023, a Pre-Final Test Examination would be given to second-year high school students. The announcement states that all authorized and accredited institutions falling under its purview will host the pre-final examination. The council gave all of the institution heads instructions on how to set up the Pre-Final Exam routine, set up subject-specific question papers, provide blank answer scripts, issue admit cards, grade answer scripts, declare results, and issue mark sheets, among other preparations needed to hold the exam.
