Digital Desk: In a major cybercrime crackdown, Delhi police arrested a man from Assam for allegedly embezzling lakhs of rupees in the name of online shopping.

Hifzul Barik, a resident of Dakshingaon of Guwahati, was arrested by a team of Delhi Cyber Police for his involvement in the fraud case.

Delhi police arrested him after a case was registered against him for duping several people. 

Hifzul has been accused of embezzling lakhs of rupees in the name of online shopping.

As per report, Hifzul was the fake owner of a shopping company called 'the Pink Almirah', who looted lakhs of rupees from several customers through a QR code.

Delhi Cyber Police took the accused into custody.
