A team involving three and support staff conducted a two-hour-long surgery to successfully remove the malignant growth from the woman's abdomen.

Digital desk: In a major success, doctors in Nagaon removed a 13-kg tumour from a patient's body. The patient, a woman, is Kathni village in Nagaon district visited the Nagaon Dew Care Hospital complaining of stomach ache.

A team involving three and support staff conducted a two-hour-long surgery to successfully remove the malignant growth from the woman's abdomen.

The surgery was carried out in collaboration with Dr Faridul Hussain and Dr. Imad Chowdhury at the initiative of Dr. Jeffreen Barua, obstetrician at Dew Care Hospital.  However, Dr Faridul Hussain, the owner of the hospital, managed to perform this difficult surgery.
