Given his urgent need, his family has made a special request for blood donations. "Interested donors are urged to reach out via the provided contact number. As fans and well-wishers, we hope for his quick recovery and look forward to his return to the screen, bringing joy and entertainment to us all", a statement read.
On Monday morning, his daughter Juhi Das posted on social media to let people know that her father is receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital.
Jayanta Das achieved fame for his portrayal of Hemanta Kakoti in the popular Assamese sitcom "Bharaghar," which had a profound impact.
Additionally, he appeared in the Assamese movies Nayak, Kadambari, Mon, Moina Sorai Moina Maat, and Kanyadaan.
