Milk prices per litre have risen by Rs 5, based on reports...

Digital Desk: In Guwahati, milk prices have risen dramatically once more. The choice was made by the Greater Guwahati Dairy Farmers' Association.

According to estimates, the cost of milk per litre has increased by Rs 5. With this increase, milk will be sold for Rs. 58 per litre starting today as opposed to Rs. 53 previously.

A report from the Greater Guwahati Dairy Farmers' Association, the increase in milk prices coincides with a recent rise in the cost of cow feed products.

As a result, wholesale providers must now pay Rs 58.60 per litre to dairy farmers for milk. As a result of the price increase, wholesale vendors are refusing to purchase milk.

The Greater Guwahati Dairy Farmers' Association, on the other hand, has stated that if wholesale suppliers do not buy their milk, they will begin selling it straight to consumers.
