Digital Desk: Another Bangladeshi citizen was apprehended in Hailakandi on September 10. The man was identified as Md. Shyam Uddin, was apprehended from from Dhanipur village under Lala Police Station.
According to reports, Shyam Uddin lived in India for 12 years. He had taken shelter at the house of Taj Uddin Chowdhury in Dhanipur village in Hailakandi.
The Assam police also detained Taj Uddin for giving shelter to Shyam Uddin. Further investigation is ongoing.
