Vehicle movement restrictions will be in place to ensure the safety of the general public...

Digital Desk: During Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar's visit to Guwahati on February 13, the following vehicle movement restrictions will be in place to ensure the safety of the general public, particularly vulnerable road users such as children, students, women, senior citizens, and people with disabilities, and to allow unrestricted access to emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire tenders.
 
The following are the restrictions imposed on the movement of vehicles:
 
 1. On February 13, 2024, from 8 AM to 10 PM, commercial goods carrying vehicles with four wheels or more are not allowed to pass on NH-17, AT Road, D.G. Road, M.G. Road, Taibullah Road, B.Borooah Road, G.S. Road, Panjabari Road, and NH-27 

 2. On February 13, 2024, from 8 AM to 10 PM, commercial goods carrying vehicles with three wheels or more are not allowed to operate on NH 17, AT Road, D.G. Road, M.G. Road, Taibullah Road, B. Borooah Road, G.S. Road, and Panjabari Road.

 3. The regulation of city buses, ASTC buses, slow-moving vehicles, etc., shall be dependent upon the traffic conditions within the city.
